Cape Cod Conservatory Jazz Band. Come hear the concert under the tent. Bring the kids, house guests and neighbors! Free admission; donations are accepted. Presented by Kirkman Trust Fund.

A lifelong resident of New England, Sally Cabot Gunning has immersed herself in its history from a young age. She is the author of six critically acclaimed historically themed novels: The Widow’s War, Bound, The Rebellion of Jane Clarke, Benjamin Franklin’s Bastard, Monticello: A Daughter and Her Father, and her latest novel, released June 2021, Painting the Light. Elected fellow of the Massachusetts Historical Society and president of The Brewster Historical Society, she has created numerous historical tours of her village.

Her work has appeared in The Washington Post, The Daily Beast, and an assortment of short story anthologies.

She lives with her husband in Brewster Massachusetts.

You and your pooch can join the Osterville Village Library’s
Fido-Friendly Gathering. Come relax,  see people & have a
howling good time under the big tent on the Calvin C. Gould Library Green.

Walk around with Salt, a 45' replica whale, and then hands-on activities (marine wildlife displays like bones, baleen, food prey, etc. and Origami whales, etc.).Plus a story time. Great for all ages,

The fundraiser will consist of 25 artists that will paint various destinations in and around this picturesque village. Later in the day, under the tent folks will be able to bid on the artwork.

Back by popular demand and rainy 4th of July weather. Get you paddleboard!

Join us in person and virtually for this important fundrasier for the library.

Race will start promptly at 8:00AM, runners must self hydrate along route. Water wil be avaiable before and after. There will be no gathering after race or medal ceremony.

First concert this year is Cape Jazz, you have heard them during festval days in the village. Bring your chair and anything wlse you want.  Made possible by a grant from the Kirkman Trust Fund.

            A Musical Story Time

Felix Stuart, age 12, will introduce the classical guitar.

Benjamin and Madeleine Stuart, age 10, will share some of their favorite read alouds.

Come see and hear, the largest string instrument in the orchestra, the classical pedal harp. Bring a blanket or lawn chair for this event on the library lawn. 

All ages welcome but structured for ages 2-8 years old.
